Back In The Р.о.с.с.и.я.
Yep, Tanya, Anya, Maschke and Sveta are going back to Russia this summer: June 2nd at the Wild Mint World Music Festival in Moscow, June 3d at lovely Arkhangelskoe Manor for the Usad’ba Jazz Festival.
The last time Katzenjammer visited the Russian capital, it was in the middle of (a bitingly cold) winter, as you can see from Turid (or Tanya)´s blog post. Hopefully, this time there won´t be need for that proto-russian headgear which we in Norwegian have named after a bear´s lady parts.

Thanks for pointing that out, Girls! :) My perception of ushanka hat will never be the same again :) Oh well… :))) Neither can I now say that it looks great on Solveig, because it will just sound weird :))) Anyway, I Love I Will Dance and whether it’s a black hat or a white hat - Sol’s performance of this song always sends shivers down my spine. Love the official music video for all its inventiveness, colours, great imaging for the lyrics of the song. Love the Ski Championship performance for its brisk and electrifying energy and miss Marianne on the Inferno Intros video BIG TIME! I Will Dance When I Walk Away = Back in the USSR with a BANG!!!! :))))
