Last sunday, Katzenjammer took part in this year´s all-day telethon at NRK Television, benefitting Norwegian People´s Aid´s projects in mine and cluster munitions clearing around the world.

“I’ll be honest, this video is the first time I’d ever seen live footage of Katzenjammer. Holy crap, they’re crazy! But you gotta love a woman who just f**king pounds on a piano. The word “katzenjammer” means “cat’s wail” and is occasionally used to mean a general state of depression. Or hungover.
In the case of this band, I’m thinking it’s those three hours just before the hangover when you can’t remember how to speak english and the stack of empty glasses next to you is so high you’ve forgotten how to count them.”
