Hammer! Yammer! Katzenjammer!!!! :) What a great lightwork! I haven’t seen it live yet, but it looks fantastic on the photographs! Great review, Girls! My favourite line is: ‘Von “Rockröhre” bis “Engelsstimme” wird dort alles abgedeckt [From "rock voice" to "angelic voice" there is everything covered]‘. This sums up the versatility of your music brilliantly! You are so unique in that! To me, Katzenjammer is all about freedom - in music, in expression, in viewpoint. Being very wholesome and ‘together’ band, you manage to be individual and different from one another, which creates the wide-ranged Katzenjammer sound that blows my mind away every time I listen to you! RRRROCK ON, GIRLS!!!! :)))))))
Ja, Ihr seid der Hammer! When joining your show in Bielefeld (which still doesn’t exist, it was all a great potemkin village, just for you), my wife statet: “Look at Marianne. Everything on her is jumping. With that wig, she reminds me of a norwegian troll…” And damn, she’s right. That hair, her moves and her twinkling eyes in which you can see she’s already thinking of the next funny action. Perfect nickname for her.
When I met you all at the merchbooth, I was fascinated by your eyes. I’ve expected what I’ve always seen after such energetic shows: pairs of tired eyes, trying to look friendly. But what I found was: four pairs of twinkling, fully awake eyes, showing that you still have fun and love what you do and for whom you do. This is what makes you different from other bands: you love and live your music, and everybody can see this.

I really fell in love with your beautiful work; that touches me deep inside. Tiered of the main-stream chart-music, I finally found the home of my musical taste. This diversity of moods between pushing gear to the limit and falling into a kind of foggy melancholy until; in the end you’re standing there with all the little hairs on the skin standing upright and feeling overwhelmed. You’re a celebration for all senses. The only thing i don’t like about you is the fact, that at the end of the show you always leave me with that longing katzenjammer feeling; but I’m sure you will come back in june 2012 and see and hear and… you again.
