Dandylion´s “Selections” Is Out In Germany.

Marianne picked a reasonably representative selection of all the goodness that is the “Images Under Construction” trilogy of EP´s, stuffed it all onto one CD, and released it in Germany this month. At the moment there´s just eight copies left at Amazon.de, but apparently more are on the way. Go get it!

Hi Marianne,

I heard couple of songs (on Youtube) that are probably in this selection of Dandylion and heard some of your previous solo work. Here is my personal opinion and “taste:” You have exceptional misicality and voice, the only thing is that maybe this solo work does not serve you the best. I know that this “over-the-top” emotional voice is a very popular style of singing, especially here in the USA, but am not sure that you should follow it. Maybe you should continue the “Katzenjammer style” of singing, with “straight” voices without too many improvisational embellisments—->they might be popular now and among some people but I do not think that there is a “staying power” in it. OK, be “mad at me” but this is what I really think.
